Lynac Split Spoons
Fast and accurate soil sampling is the basis for the penetrator series of split spoon samplers. Designed with the engineer and driller in mind, the extension sleeve allows room atop the sample for any debris remaining from hole advancement. The heat Treated 4130 tubing drive shoe provided reliability hole after hole. Available as final assemblies, PennDrill also can supply replacement parts for the higher wear components.

Shelby Tube Sampler
The shelby tube being a widely used insitu sample method, the connector head contains a ball check valve creating a vacuum in the tube as it is retracted from the hole assuring sample retention. PennDrill thin wall (shelby) tube samplers meet D.C.D.M.A. specifications. Shelby Tubes come standard in 3” x 30” size as well as 36”. PennDrill also manufactures various thread connections to drive the shelby tubes and components.
